Digital cold cargo storage is an advanced system for storing temperature-sensitive goods at the airport. It is equipped with advanced refrigeration and monitoring systems to ensure optimal storage conditions for different types of perishable goods.

The facility uses a state-of-the-art refrigeration technology and meticulous monitoring systems that help regulate and monitor the temperature of the storage environment. It is fully digital, which enables it to be regulated remotely allowing for accuracy and precision of temperature and has dual compartments; The walk–in chiller and the walk-in freezer. 

The system is designed for temperature-sensitive items such as pharmaceuticals, vaccines, perishable foods like poultry, yoghurt, fruits and other goods that require strict temperature control.  

If a temperature fluctuation is detected, the system will trigger an immediate alert to the Digital storage operations team. They will take necessary actions to rectify the issue and ensure that the cargo remains within the required temperature range. 

The cold storage facility is equipped with high-quality insulation, enabling it to maintain its set temperature for an extended period, even during power outages. Additionally, the airport benefits from a 24/7 electricity supply with automated switching between backup power sources. 

Our airport facilities are accessible 24/7 but our Digital cold storage walk-in hours are between the hours of 4:30am – 8pm. 

25 tons. 13 tons walk-in-chiller and 12 tons walk-in-freezer. 

Our walk-in chiller ranges between 0 degrees to 8 degrees. It has a shared capacity of 13 tons. The walk-in freezer temperature ranges between -16 degrees to -20 degrees. With a capacity of 12 tons.
